1. About Us

Legalexecutor (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “the Company”) is a legal advisory company registered in the Netherlands, providing advisory, document automation, and related services. We are not a law firm and do not provide regulated legal representation unless explicitly stated in a separate engagement letter.

2. Scope of Services

Our services include:

  • Legal advisory and guidance on Dutch and EU law
  • Document review, drafting assistance, and legal translation
  • Immigration and permit application support
  • Representation and negotiation support (as explicitly agreed)
  • Document automation and template services

The specific scope of services, fees, and deliverables for each engagement are set out in a separate service agreement or engagement letter provided to the client prior to commencement of work.

3. Not a Substitute for Legal Representation

Our advisory services provide general legal information and guidance. They do not constitute legal representation, legal advice in the regulated sense, or establishment of an attorney-client relationship unless a signed engagement letter explicitly states otherwise. For matters requiring formal legal representation before courts or regulatory bodies, we will advise you to engage a registered Dutch attorney (advocaat) or refer you to one.

4. Client Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information relevant to your matter
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your situation or circumstances
  • Pay invoices within the agreed payment terms
  • Use our services only for lawful purposes

5. Fees and Payment

Fees are set out in the relevant service agreement or quote. Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Invoices are due within 14 days of issue
  • We reserve the right to pause or terminate services for overdue accounts
  • All prices are exclusive of VAT (BTW) where applicable
  • Refunds are subject to the terms of the individual engagement

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as required by law, as necessary to deliver the services, or with your explicit consent. Our staff and any engaged contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations.

7. Intellectual Property

Documents, templates, and materials we create for you as part of a paid engagement are licensed to you for the agreed purpose. Our proprietary methodologies, systems, and general know-how remain our intellectual property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the 12-month period prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or where limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice.
